It can even in some circumstances occur spontaneously due to no fault of your own. Your toenail shape might be excessively curved at the sides which leads to you being predisposed to this painful condition.
[/bt_spoiler] [bt_spoiler title="Procedure" icon="list"] After the nail is removed the nail bed is destroyed using a chemical called Phenol which prevents the nail from regrowing and thus eliminates any further problems.The procedure takes about 30 minutes and is performed under strictly STERILE conditions after which a sterile dressing is applied and the patient is recalled after 4 – 5 days for it to be re-dressed.
